چکیده

The application of mathematical analysis has been an essential tool applied on Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) buoys, Wave Energy Converters (WEC), point absorber and various single mooring (SPM) systems. This enables having models for bonded marine hoses SPM systems with CALM which are obviously a requisite the techno-economic design operation these floating structures. Hose (HM) (MM) utilized variety applications such as SPARs, Semisubmersibles, WECs buoys. buoys goal this review is to address subject from modeling operational views. To correctly reproduce behavior hoses, including nonlinear dynamics, study their performance, accurate required. paper gives overview statics dynamics offshore/marine hoses. reviews hose conducted based theoretical, numerical, experimental investigations. also covers challenges encountered in installation, connection, hang-off operations. State-of-the-art, developments recent innovations SURP (subsea umbilicals, risers, pipelines) presented. Finally, details relevant materials that implementations. Some conclusions recommendations presented review.

Mooring Line Reliability Analysis of Single Point Mooring (SPM) System under Extreme Wave and Current Conditions

Single Point Mooring (SPM) is a type of offshore facility that is used for the loading and unloading of oil and gas tankers in the sea. In Iran, it is briefly called “floating buoy”. The present study discussed floating type, fixed to the seabed with mooring chain. The mooring chain of SPM, which is considered one of the important parameters of its design, will be evaluated with reg...

Dynamics of a Single Point Mooring Marine Aquaculture Cage as a Simple Vibrating System

The increasing world demand for fish cannot be met by capture fisheries. Aquaculture production is increasing and nowadays cage culture has an important role in meeting the world’s fish demand. The design of the physical structure of a cage is determined by the oceanographic conditions of the culture site. Each design is site-specific and knowledge of the topography, wind force and direct...

Mathematical Modelling of Mooring Systems for Wave Energy Converters—A Review

Mathematical analysis is an essential tool for the successful development and operation of wave energy converters (WECs). Mathematical models of moorings systems are therefore a requisite in the overall techno-economic design and operation of floating WECs. Mooring models (MMs) can be applied to a range of areas, such as WEC simulation, performance evaluation and optimisation, control design an...

Finite Element Modelling of Mooring Lines

In this paper, we develop a new finite element model for a cable suspended in water. Global existence and uniqueness of solutions of the truncated system is shown for a slightly simplified equation describing the motion of a cable having negligible added mass and supported by fixed end-points. Based on this, along with well known results on local existence and uniqueness of solutions for symmet...
